Clients can select from a variety of lacquers or stains. Choose a primed and lacquered floor for superior protection and multiple possibilities for a raw look and feel. Alternatively, decide on a stained floor and explore endless colouring options! Given that the average person spends 90% of their time indoors (Environmental Protection Agency), we make sure to avoid any products with harsh chemicals! Rest assured, all our products meet the Green Guard standard and are low in VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). This ensures there is no health risk!
Stains
- You can stain your floors with a variety of colours ranging from the Nordic Shimmer collection with its soft, organic, natural tones to sleek, dark, sophisticated shades
- Darker floors give a more modern/elegant look and can also hide physical floor imperfections. However dark floors need more maintenance since dust and scratches will show up easily
- Light hardwood floors have a small advantage over darker floors since they hide scuffs and scratches better. Light floors are great for clients with kids and pets. Also, lighter floors help to make rooms look bigger since they reflect light!
- One thing to note with stains is that different species of wood will absorb the stain differently
Lacquers
Out with the orange!
- Enjoy a raw natural look by sanding your floor and then using a lacquer. Your floor will have that natural look and feel of wood with a resilient surface protection
- Waterborne lacquers are durable and won’t fade, amber or change colour over time. They highlight the true beauty and elegance of wood
- Lacquers range from gloss, silk matt, matt, extra matt
